Hey everyone! I’m finally posting something after a month of absence! Please accept my humble apologies! Well, not like anyone reads my blog anyways. Let’s see, i’m currently having my block leave which means i’m free! (for like 10 days) heh.

My 8 weeks and 2 days at the island have finally come to a close. Feel a bit sad yet happy at the same time. Happy because of the liberation, yet sad because of the seperation of the friendships and the unity forged. Will really miss my section and platoon mates after being posted out. Just hoping that i won’t meet like bastards/jerks. haha. well, i guess that still seems pretty distant from now eh. To be exact, 1 week and 3 days time. haha.

For now, i shall just go and enjoy myself, lavishing in the comforts of air-conditioned shopping malls and not having to water parade before every activity. (:

Had my SMU interview on monday, okay i know this seems really overdue but anyhow, i think it went fine. Nothing bitchy happened. Apparently the interviewers/profs were quite nice to talk to, especially the indian man. The ang moh lady seemed pretty intense actually, and my friend was being ‘attacked’ by her during her interview. hahaha. But overall it felt okay, like how an interview was suppose to feel like. Well, basically the profs were pretty smart. All they needed to do was to ask me why i chose Soc Sc. and then different topics would start flying in from nowhere like the many birds that you see flying around in the sky. Haha. And seriously, it felt more like chit chat rather than a grilling session. heh. Hope it turns out well and that i get accepted, well probably cos NUS hasn’t sent me an acceptance letter, yet! oh well, i’ll see how it goes.

NS is drawing near.. in 2 days time, i’ll be enlisting.. going to be deported to TEKONG! omg. i’m still not mentally prepared yet. oh well, i think it’s gonna be like the secondary school – JC transition period kinda thing. In the end, everything’s gonna be okay! Wow, i sound really optimistic huh. I’ll just see how it goes.

PS: I dyed my hair back to black!

okay, i’ve finally resigned from my job at TBS due to NS liabilities. Enjoyed my time there and the experience was certainly enriching. This marks the end of mundane and arduous hour long bus rides to Vivocity every morning and back home from vivocity every night, where Singaporeans/Foreign workers never cease to amaze me with their funny antics. Also, no more annoying little babies/toddlers making funny, ear-piercing noises as well as really bad intepretations of street names. However, i must say that the one thing that i loved most about the bus ride is that of observing the nice row of houses along pasir panjang road and also the tranquility it grants to meditate about stuff, amidst all that chatter/banter from the people around me.

anyways, now that i’m free for about 2 weeks… i’ll have to make good use of it. first of all, i’m looking forward to my Genting trip this weekend! From 3rd to 5th april! But sadly, i’ll be missing my friend’s birthday party! Sorry Rachel! After that, shall start training a little bit for NS and subsequently, i must finally confront what is waiting for me, after 18 years of GST and subsidized education, NATIONAL SERVICE. hope i survive.

Sigh, i’m gonna miss working at TBS and my colleagues!

Crossroads

Currently arrived at yet another crossroad/junction in my life. This time, it’ll determine my future as well as my life. Okay, what i’m referring to is that of which university and what course i should choose. On a side note, with regards to my a level results, i must say its quite a humbling experience.. my results weren’t fantastic. They are what i would term as Average/Mediocre. In all seriousness, i think my results stink. In comparison to the many happy faces around me who either A) Went on stage or B) Almost went on stage, my results are really grade C toilet paper. Please do not mistake me for being envious/jealous ‘cos that’s a sin! Instead, i’m really happy for those who got great results/ are happy with theirs. Well, i’m actually grateful to God for the results he gave me. I walked into the exam hall entrusting him to grant me what i deserve, multiplying my efforts and etc etc. Truly, he has blessed me with grades that are able to get me into the course that i want, hopefully. haha. So, thank you God.

Anyways, i went to the SMU open house on sunday and managed to know more about the courses and campus life. I hogged this girl from School of Social Sciences for really long ‘cos i was asking her many questions about the interview, what the course is about, future prospects etc. So after that, i got even more interested so i guess i’m gonna pursue that. Don’t intend or rather never intended on doing sciences anymore, or perhaps can try chemistry and end up in the same school as my sister. lol. Oh well, still have a few weeks more to consider my options before applications close.

Today’s my off day again! haha. finally have some time to rest. wanted to go shopping today but i felt that i would be too tired after i end work yesterday. heh.

So instead of shopping, i’m gonna have my own movie marathon at home since my dad borrowed like 5 DVDs from video ezy. omg. haha.

omg, my internet is finally alive again! much thanks to my magic fingers once again. heh.

Anyways, i know it has been a long time since i blogged.. but well, i’m usually tired after an hour of bus ride from Vivo to CCK after work. AND, i end work at about 9 or 10 most of the time. So, obviously i’ll reach home at like 10 or 11 plus. What follows after that is a typical routine — Eat, Bathe, Watch a little TV and then sleep. hehe.

Thankfully, i start work at 3pm today, hence here i am, typing this post. (: I shall complain about SMRT buses being late another time because i think i should curb my ”bitchings”. On a side note, FUSION 2009 is coming soon. I personally have never attended any FUSIONs. For the benefit of those who don’t know.. FUSION is actually a christian event held every year. I have this feeling that i should go. hahaha. Not sure if my cell groupmates are going! hope that they are and hopefully, they’re reading this too!

Okay, i should go have my lunch now ‘cos i have to leave my house by 1.20 pm in order to reach harbourfront at 2.45. =/

Hello everybody, i realised that i haven’t been blogging for quite some time.. i’m really sorry. Anyways, i only get about a maximum of 2 off days per week, that’s why i don’t blog as regularly as before.

Working life has been smooth sailing so far. I like my job and i got to know my colleagues better already.

Right now the thing that’s troubling me is that i have to plan some sec 4 class gathering.. and also a small reunion thing for my jc class also. haha. damn scheduleszzzz.

Hello everybody! I think i like my job! its really fun being a part-time sales advisor at Body shop! Well, I personally like it when there’s customers in the shop. It is actually quite fun to introduce products to customers and letting them know what the product is about and all. However, remembering the many different types of products is quite a difficult task, especially the make-up!!! i need help with that! haha. Anyways, i think service-industry is quite fun actually… Get to interact with customers! And i really love doing cashier ‘cos I get to press the buttons and its like masak-masak which we all played when we were little kids. haha.

Well, the only bad thing i can think of is when there are NO customers around.. it will be quite boring. We will just be re-stocking and cleaning the shelves. heh. And today, i clocked in 10hours! My personal record so far! woot. I started from 11am(when the shop opens) till 2130, partly because there was a group of shoppers who took quite some time to settle payment and etc. heh.
